A little hello from me!
Thank you for joining my community of dog enthusiasts, it is amazing to have you here.
I felt it was only right to let you know why I am here and what it is that I do.
My name is Helen Taylor, I have been a dog trainer for 27 years, doing a variety of jobs, including training assistance dogs, Gundogs, dogs for theatre productions, breaking Guinness book of records and many other types of dogs for various disciplines and reasons. So you may say I have a lot of experience helping people communicate with and train their dogs.
I hope that I can be of assistance to you, here are a few reviews to show you!
“Oh wow I have only had 3 one to one sessions and I have learnt so much , Helen has a great way of explaining things so I take it in ( well I try my best ) me and my pup have lots to work with and I’m now excited for our journey and look forward to more training along the way. DEFO recommend” - Jennie and Stella
“Where to start!! Helen has literally changed my life and relationship with my teenage lab. We’ve had 3 1 to 1 sessions and 1 group session. After struggling for 5 months with very challenging behaviour that was becoming increasingly worse, Helen listened to me and was so understanding. She very quickly found the issue, showed me how to confidently defuse the situation and within less than a week we’ve not had any more problems. She explains things well. Has oodles of patience, knowledge, experience and is clearly massively passionate about what she does. My only regret is I didn’t seek her help sooner. My training journey with my dog is now so exciting and I can’t wait to learn more and see my boy flourish. Thank you, thank you, thank you Helen!!” - Debbie and Eddie
“Helen very kindly fit us in for a last minute at home appointment for our two fur babies who are struggling with separation anxiety amongst other various issues… jumping, barking, lead training, aggression.
Helen was a very calming influence and came across extremely knowledgeable but with a very welcome real world pragmatic approach to our specific scenario and problems.
She also ended up staying for 3 hours not only 1 and brought lots of treats (all natural) and training toys like snuffle mats/ licking mats/ various natural chew toys also to show/ use.
Little things that make a difference and not a prerequisite with trainers.
It’s only our first appointment and for our situation we will need continued help, but we are very reassured by her ability and knowledge and have some “quick wins” to ease our situation already.
We are looking forward to carrying out our homework and having Helen back in a few weeks for next steps.
We have every confidence that Helen is going to be the trainer finally who will make a difference and help us and our babies to a happier life as a family.” - Annabel Upton
