Guns and Noses provides professional dog training services, online resources, subscriptions, and training-related products. All services and materials are provided for personal use only and may not be copied, shared, or resold without written permission.

2. Behaviour and Conduct

At Guns and Noses, we promote a kind, respectful, and supportive environment for both dogs and humans.

• Abusive, rude, or aggressive behaviour (toward staff, other clients, or animals) will not be tolerated.

• Anyone behaving inappropriately may be asked to leave a class, group, or online space without refund.

• Dogs must not be handled harshly or punished during sessions. Only positive, force-free training methods are permitted.

• No punitive equipment is allowed in any class, 1:1 session, or event. This includes but is not limited to check chains, prong collars, slip leads used as corrections, or electronic collars (e-collars).

3. Bookings and Payments

• Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your space.

• Spaces in classes or 1:1 sessions are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

• Prices are displayed clearly at the time of purchase and may change without prior notice for future bookings.

• All payments are processed securely through approved payment platforms.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

• Group Classes (e.g. Puppy Courses): Each course runs for a fixed number of weeks. Please check all dates carefully before booking. If you miss a session, it cannot be refunded, transferred, or carried over to another course.

• 1:1 Sessions: Require at least 5 days’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations made within 5 days of your booking are non-refundable.

  If you do need to cancel last minute, Helen will always do her best to fill your slot.

  • If your slot is successfully filled, you will receive a credit note for the full session value (less admin and payment fees).

  • If your slot cannot be filled, the session will remain non-refundable.

• Refunds: All refunds are subject to a £5 administration fee, plus a small deduction to cover payment processing fees charged by the payment provider (these vary depending on platform).

• Workshops or Events: Refunds will only be issued if cancelled with more than 5 days’ notice or if the event is cancelled by Guns and Noses.

• Digital Products and Downloads: Due to the nature of digital content, refunds cannot be issued once access has been granted.

• Subscriptions: You may cancel your subscription at any time; however, payments already made are non-refundable. You will retain access until the end of your billing period.

If Guns and Noses must cancel or postpone a class or session (for example, due to illness, weather, or venue issues), you will be offered a transfer, credit note, or alternative date.

5. Health and Safety

• Owners are responsible for their dog’s behaviour and welfare at all times.

• Dogs must be up to date with vaccinations or have titre test proof if required.

• Bitches in season should not attend group sessions – please contact Helen for advice.

• Please inform us of any medical or behavioural issues that may affect your dog’s participation.

• Accessibility: Please check with Helen before booking if you require accessibility information for a venue. Some training areas, including the yard and surrounding fields, may have uneven ground and natural outdoor terrain.

• Footwear and Clothing: It is your responsibility to wear appropriate footwear and weather-appropriate clothing suitable for outdoor conditions.

• Children are welcome but must be supervised by an adult at all times.

• Vehicles and personal property are left at training venues entirely at your own risk. Guns and Noses accepts no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to vehicles or belongings.

• No punitive or aversive equipment may be used on your dog during Guns and Noses training sessions or events. This includes choke chains, prong collars, slip leads used for correction, or any electronic training devices.

• Any client found using such equipment may be asked to remove it immediately or leave the session without refund.

6. Photography and Media

• Photos and short video clips may occasionally be taken during training sessions, events, or workshops for use on the Guns and Noses website, social media, or marketing materials.

• These images and clips help showcase training progress, share community achievements, and promote positive training experiences.

• If you prefer not to be photographed or filmed (or for your dog not to appear), please let Helen know before your session begins, and your wishes will always be respected.

• All media remains the property of Guns and Noses and may be used without time limitation unless otherwise agreed in writing.

7. Online Training and Subscriptions

For online lessons, courses, and memberships (such as the Guns and Noses Insiders Club):

• Access is for personal use only. You may not share your login, materials, or videos with others.

• All course content, cue cards, videos, and written resources remain the intellectual property of Guns and Noses.

• Subscription prices and inclusions may be updated from time to time with notice.

• It is your responsibility to ensure you have a suitable internet connection and device to access online materials.

8. Shop and Product Sales

• Products are described as accurately as possible, but slight variations in colour, size, or packaging may occur.

• If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 7 days for a replacement or refund.

• Returns for non-faulty items are accepted within 14 days if unused and in their original packaging.

• Customers are responsible for return postage unless an item is faulty.

9. Liability

• Participation in any Guns and Noses activity is at your own risk.

• Owners are fully responsible for their dog’s actions, behaviour, and safety at all times.

• Guns and Noses and Helen Taylor accept no liability for any loss, damage, or injury sustained during training, online activities, or events.

• No responsibility is accepted for loss, theft, or damage to vehicles, personal property, or equipment while attending classes, workshops, or events.

• Advice and guidance are given in good faith; results may vary depending on consistency, environment, and individual dogs.

10. Privacy and Data Protection

We take your privacy seriously. Personal data is stored securely and used only for communication, training records, and updates relevant to your bookings or purchases.
We do not share or sell your details to third parties.
You can request access or deletion of your data at any time by contacting Helen.

11. Intellectual Property

All written materials, videos, cue cards, graphics, and digital resources are owned by Guns and Noses and protected by copyright law.
You may not reproduce, distribute, or share them without written permission.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
By purchasing or participating in any Guns and Noses service or product, you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
